Who in the world loves zippers as much as I do!

by Karen Rae

New Arrivals

New Arrivals

Yep, I confess. I have a zipper fetish.

It happened during my maiden voyage into the vast land of

sourcing materials when designing the CCK(Cash, Cards, Keys) bags.

It's like opening presents every time

zippers arrive from favorite supplier YKK.

These came in late last week in preparation for making

additional bag styles - medium and small cross shoulder bags and a clutch - being added to the line.

Wouldn't you go nuts after seeing a color card like this?

Colors for miles ...............

What's special about YKK zippers?

Quality?

Well that's a given.

They're substantial. The metal feels old school. The zipper pull is sturdy and the more they're used the more the zippers glide smooth as silk.

Wait!

There's icing on this cake.

While YKK is a global company,

the zippers we receive are made in factories in the

United States of America - all around our BEAUTIFUL country.

This recent shipment was made in Macon, Georgia.

I like this.

Wherever possible,

Made in USA makes sense.

Now that the zippers are here

let the sample making rumpus begin!

If once in a while. We can. Sit. At the edge. Of the earth. Leaving our human doings behind. We see hope. In the color of dusk. And remember the gaze. In each other's eyes. We breathe. A little deeper. Talk. A little slower. Laugh. A little lo
